Hi fellow Midwayers,
Summer camp retreat is early this year. I hope that some of you would like to attend this retreat even if you're not 100% sure that you can come out.
When: January 18-20, 2008.
(You can come up either Friday night or Saturday morning)
Where: Beach house in Oceanside
Cost: FREE
Who: Whoever is interested.
Please let me(DAVID) know so I can arrange rides.
For those of you who are willing to drive and carpool, I will reimburse you for your gas... depends on how many people you drive to the retreat.

Hi guys,
BigTim and I, we are in contact with a needy family of an inmate in Stanton. We will be helping the family move on December 31. If you are interested in getting them Christmas gift or helping them move, please drop us a line. Gary had already committed to get a pick up truck to help with the move, but we need more muscles... For gifts, the kids are: 7 years old Kelsea, 2 years old Devin, and Kayla 3 months old.

Hiking in Pasadena Postponed due to weather
Can you believe it? i hasn't rained for the longest time, then our hiking trip comes around and we can't go anymore.
anyways, we'll meet up at church, do a small activity, head out and catch a 1.50 movie and grab a bite to eat around irvine and maybe swing by saddleback church

Saturday (tomorrow) is church clean up day. Come in the morning and finish by the afternoon. There will be various jobs set out for us to do.
Lunch is provided for those who help out clean.

Sat Aug 18 we will be doing an activity called "Building up your Talent" based on Mat 25:14-30. Prepare to use your Talents.
next Sat Aug 25th, we are going to Magic Mountain. we were suppose to hand out tracks, but it turns out that it is illegal, so we will try to do something else like talk to people and do prayer walks.
The cost is about $25-30 per person (sign up with Jimmy Phan for exact ticket cost and rides). We will meet at church 9 am and come back around 9pm. Food is on your own. Everyone is invited who is college and up (Seniors are welcome too) so invite your friends.
